Year: 2025
Type: article
Study design: Observational Study
Abstract: The hospitality sector in Bangalore City has experienced rapid growth due to increased tourism, IT expansion, business travel, and urbanization. Understanding customer perception has become essential for enhancing service quality and maintaining a competitive advantage. This study examines customer attitudes, satisfaction levels, and expectations regarding hospitality services across hotels in Bangalore. Using primary data collected through structured questionnaires and secondary data from journals and industry reports, the study identifies key determinants of customer satisfaction, including service quality, staff responsiveness, ambience, cleanliness, pricing, and technological integration. The findings reveal that while customers are generally satisfied with hospitality services in the city, gaps remain in personalisation, wait times, and service delivery consistency. Recommendations are provided to help hospitality providers improve customer experience and strengthen customer loyalty.
