Abstract: Home care decisions can be a difficult area for many life care planners. Making objective and appropriate recommendations for obtaining care from an agency versus privately hiring is sometimes challenging and is an area that is open to receiving attention in testimony situations. In an attempt to make the decision-making process more objective, the author of this article has developed two tools. This article describes the two tools, offering life care planners the opportunity to incorporate them into practice.
