Abstract: This flyer highlights the benefits and methodological rationale for preregistration in empirical research. By specifying hypotheses, methods, and analysis plans prior to data collection, researchers reduce analytic flexibility, mitigate bias, and enhance the replicability and credibility of their findings. Preregistration also establishes intellectual ownership and provides structured guidance for rigorous study implementation.
