Collective Quantum Coherence in Diamond Nanoresonators: A Falsifiable Theoretical Proposal (V1)

Year: 2025
Type: preprint
Abstract: This work presents a condensed, falsifiable, and fully structured theoretical proposal for the emergence of ODLRO-like collective quantum coherence in diamond nanomechanical resonators. The document introduces a quantitative parameter window (g/κ > 1 and χ/κ > 0.1), incorporates explicit decoherence modeling, provides a phase diagram of the Many-Body Quantum Coherence regime, and defines strict falsification criteria applicable to mK experiments. This preprint is the formal and compact version intended for arXiv submission. It is complemented by the extended hypothesis “Coherencia Cuántica Colectiva en Nanoresonadores de Diamante”, available at Zenodo (DOI: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.17700187). All numerical values in this work are conditional and transparency-focused, pending ab-initio and FEM validation. Version 1.1 This updated version introduces Section 4.1, a rigorous analysis of intrinsic phonon–phonon damping in diamond (Akhiezer vs. Landau–Rumer regimes). The new section: Clarifies the role of Grüneisen-mediated anharmonicity in setting the fundamental Q·f limit. Demonstrates that, at the proposed operating point (T ≈ 10 mK, f ≈ 10 GHz), Landau–Rumer damping is negligible compared to surface TLS losses. Strengthens the falsifiability framework by sharpening the decoherence boundaries relevant to mK nanoresonator experiments. This addition was prompted by the insightful technical feedback of Dr. Philipp Bredol (Technical University of Munich) and significantly improves the physical completeness of the decoherence model. The rest of the document remains unchanged from Version 1.0.
