Abstract: The NEFI Technology Talk: Circular Economy in Industry on December 3rd, 2025 at the Linzerie (Taubenmarkt, Linz) focused on building a sustainable and resource-efficient industrial sector through circular economy principles. The spotlight was on current NEFI projects and best practices in the fields of plastics and textile recycling, urban mining, and future waste. Industry representatives, technology providers, and research partners discussed how circular economy approaches can be implemented across different industrial sectors, with a particular emphasis on collaboration, technological innovation, and suitable framework conditions. The event offered expert presentations, practical examples, a panel discussion, and numerous networking opportunities to actively help shape the transition toward a climate-friendly and circular industrial future.
