Quipu and the Resolution Hypothesis: Five Observational Predictions for a Primordial Filament

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The recent discovery of the Quipu superstructure—a continuous filamentary network spanning over 400 Mpc—presents a significant stress test for the standard ΛCDM cosmological model. While hierarchical assembly permits large structures, the probability of forming a coherent system of this magnitude from Gaussian initial conditions is statistically low. This paper applies the Resolution Cosmology framework (v5.2/v1.1) to interpret Quipu not as a transient gravitational overdensity, but as a "primordial resolution stroke"—a fossilized feature of the "Deep Strata" established at the Planck epoch. We outline five falsifiable predictions distinguishing this hypothesis from standard gravitational instability, including: CMB Alignment: A predicted correlation between the Quipu major axis and the CMB "Axis of Evil" (low-ℓ CMB multipoles (l=2 quadrupole and l=3 octopole)). Velocity Coherence: Bulk flows persisting beyond the standard 150 Mpc decorrelation limit. Angular Momentum Memory: Galaxy spin alignment scaling with the filament, a prediction recently validated at the 15 Mpc scale by Tudorache et al. (2025).
