Abstract: Archaeological investigations on the Lääniste hill fort in Tartumaa revealed 25 burials in the trench next to the northern rampart: 21 skeletons and 4 coffins. The article provides an ostological analysis of the skeltons, a study of the finds from the cemetery excavations and discusses the contextual information.
