The Universe as a Dying Black Hole's Final Thought: A Student-Level Information Framework

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The black hole information paradox has always fascinated me because it sits at the intersection of quantum mechanics and general relativity. Recent ideas from Frolov (2014), Modesto (2023), and developments in holographic entropy suggest that information might not be destroyed after all—it may simply be redistributed through quantum processes. In this paper, I build a quantitative framework connecting black hole evaporation to the long-term evolution of the universe. My central idea is that the observable universe shares structural and thermodynamic similarities with a finite-lifetime black hole that is slowly approaching complete information recovery. Using dimensional analysis and order-of-magnitude calculations, I explore how Bekenstein–Hawking entropy, the Page curve, and key cosmological parameters might align under this interpretation. I clearly separate standard physics from speculative extensions and address the main objection—cosmic expansion versus event horizon behavior. Finally, I propose three testable predictions involving CMB spectral deviations, late-universe entropy patterns, and quantum-level correlations across cosmological distances. Keywords: black hole thermodynamics; information paradox; cosmological entropy;Hawking radiation; Page curve; holographic principle
