3D Resin-printed Dental Prostheses: From Acquisition to Digital Printing

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: 3D printing is a revolutionary technique that offers unrivaled precision, increased customization, and reduced production times. Not only has this technology made it possible to optimize clinical protocols, but it has also improved the patient experience through faster and often more accessible solutions.Despite its obvious advantages, though, its adoption requires a deep understanding of the protocol. In fact, compliance with protocols is not an alternative but an imperative requirement to guarantee the quality of manufactured devices, their biocompatibility, and regulatory compliance.Any deviation can compromise clinical results and compromise patient safety. The aim of our work is to establish guidelines to guide the practitioner in the creation of 3D resin-printed devices.
