Emotional Stability and Behavioral Homeostasis in Working Dogs: A Neuro-Behavioral Model for High-Performance Training
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Emotional stability is the single most important predictor of long-term reliability, learning consistency, and stress resilience in working dogs. While drive theory explains motivation, emotional stability determines performance under pressure. This article introduces a modern, measurable model of Behavioral Homeostasis, combining physiological stress markers, cognitive load processing, and long-term field observations collected between 2011 and 2024.The framework presented here forms a core pillar of The Keskin Method™, integrating neuro-behavioral stability into everyday training for IGP, police, protection, detection, and service dogs.
