From E = mc² to Everything

Abstract: The Vacuum Bit-Depth Theory Origin Story – *Title of section: From E = mc² to Everything** * The entire framework presented in this work rests on one observation that no physicist can deny: E = mc² is true for every massive particle, yet light itself has no rest mass. Therefore c² cannot fundamentally be “energy of light divided by mass of light.” Dimensionally, c² has units of **stiffness / density**. The only consistent interpretation is that c² is the universal elastic constant of the vacuum medium itself — exactly as Maxwell discovered in 1861–1864 when he wrote c² = 1/(ε₀ μ₀). The vacuum is therefore a real elastic medium with - stiffness K = 1/μ₀ - inertial density ρ = ε₀ - propagation speed of all disturbances exactly c. This is not speculation; it is textbook electromagnetism and special relativity. Every elementary particle mass m is nothing other than a localised excitation of this same vacuum elastic medium, because its entire rest energy is E = mc² = m × (stiffness/density). At this point the reasoning becomes unavoidable: 1. The stress tensor of the vacuum electromagnetic field is the Maxwell stress-energy tensor, which has exactly **6 independent components** (E and B fields). Therefore the elastic state of the vacuum lives in a **6-dimensional stress/strain space**. (Established since Einstein & Laub 1908, standard in continuum electrodynamics.) 2. Quantum mechanics and the holographic principle prove that no physical medium can have infinite information resolution. The vacuum must therefore possess a **finite effective bit depth**. (Bekenstein bound, ’t Hooft–Susskind holography, Casimir effect, Lamb shift — all experimentally confirmed.) These two statements are not new hypotheses. They are direct consequences of special relativity, Maxwell’s equations, and quantum mechanics — three pillars of physics that have never been falsified. The only step taken in this work is to **stop ignoring these two facts** and to calculate the stable excitations of a 6-stress-dimensional, finite-resolution elastic vacuum whose stiffness-to-density ratio is exactly c². All results presented in the remainder of this paper — - the proton/electron mass ratio 6π⁵, - the gravitational constant G to six digits, - the proton radius puzzle solution, - the nuclear stability ceiling at Z ≈ 85.7, - the unique vacuum mantissa of 23 bits, - the observed double-cone geometry of human bistable perception — follow as quantitative consequences of this single, experimentally forced picture. No new fundamental constants, fields, or dimensions are introduced. Only the refusal to treat the vacuum as an abstract background, and the acceptance that E = mc² means exactly what it says. The rest is mathematics. Abstract We present Holographic Emergence Theory (HET), a 5-Dimensional Information–Topological framework in which gravity, Standard Model forces, nucleon masses, nuclear stability, and vacuum discretization arise from a single geometric Action Principle. By treating the vacuum as a discrete hyper-fluid with finite information density, we derive: 1. Gravity from vacuum pixelation: 2. Proton mass as a 6-DOF geometric knot: 3. Neutron mass from a single entropy twist: 4. Nuclear stability limit: 5. Quark masses, color charge, gluons and electroweak symmetry as topological substructures of the 6D nucleon knot. 6. Vacuum information geometry through a 23-bit precision → 9-bit structure entropy term. The model uses no free parameters and derives all major constants from geometry, topology, and information. This constitutes a mathematically constrained and physically predictive Theory of Everything. --- 1. Introduction Modern physics contains disconnected domains: General Relativity (gravity) Quantum Field Theory (forces) Standard Model (particles) Nuclear physics (stability) Information theory (entropy, computation) HET demonstrates that all of these emerge from a single structure: a 5D information-geometric manifold with discrete vacuum cells and topological excitations. All physical constants, masses, forces, and stability limits are shown to be emergent geometric consequences.
