Dynamical Arrest Under Propofol: Reduced Traversability and Meta-Noetic Jacobian Flattening
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This study applies Noetic Diffusion Theory (NDT) to propofol anesthesia using matched fMRI and EEG pipelines. We quantify how loss of consciousness corresponds to reduced manifold traversability and flattening of the Meta-Noetic Jacobian. fMRI shows trend-level geometric contractions, whereas EEG reveals large stratified shifts, slowed MNPS dynamics, and diminished rotational meta-dynamics, consistent with a “high-dispersion, low-velocity” dynamical arrest. Recovery follows staged re-expansion. Results provide an empirical, modality-aware test of NDT.
