Pediatric OCD-therapists' opinions on ERP in vivo and VRET-RP: a mixed method study
Year: 2024
Type: preprint
Abstract: Therapists of children and adolescents with OCD can be reluctant to engage in ERP in vivo. For example due to fear of serious negative consequences (SNCs) and uncertainty about practical matters like time, money and legal liability (e.g., De Jong, 2021; Schneider et al., 2020). In this study, we will examine therapists’ beliefs and attitudes regarding ERP in vivo and VRET-RP in the treatment of pediatric OCD. Literature: De Jong, R. (2021). Fighting fears by facing fears.
