Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Lawful & Predictable: An interdisciplinary research framework bridging neuroscience, control theory, and artificial intelligence. This research introduces a lawful model of cognition grounded in systems theory, neuroscience, and information processing. Instead of abstract philosophy, it emphasizes mechanisms of control, predictability, and computational constraints. The work formalizes a cognitive architecture as a lawful, dynamic control system operating under real-world energetic and informational limits. Systems-level perspective on cognition Mechanistic and predictive model of the mind Constraints from neuroscience and control theory Implications for AI and architectures of autonomous systems The architecture is intended as a conceptual and engineering framework for future work in artificial intelligence system design, alignment, and autonomous control.
