Abstract: This study presents a comprehensive analysis of the skin microbiome in patients with staphylococcal and streptococcal pyoderma in order to assess its dysbiotic changes and its role in the clinical course of the disease. The analysis was based on a comparison with a control group of healthy volunteers. On the basis of microbiological and molecular genetic data, the degree of dysbiosis, the levels of colonisation by pathogens and the presence of virulence genes were determined. The severity of inflammation, the frequency of relapses and the extent of the lesions were analysed using correlation analysis. In addition, the antibiotic resistance profile of the clinical isolates was determined, which is an important prognostic and therapeutic indicator.
