Abstract: The article examines the features of the operation of autonomous energy complexes intended for the rational use of biomass as a renewable energy source. The main attention is paid to the technical characteristics of such systems, their efficiency and environmental safety. An analysis of modern approaches to the conversion of biomass into energy with the use of innovative technologies has been carried out, and aspects of optimizing energy production depending on the availability of raw materials and local operating conditions are considered. The results obtained make it possible to formulate recommendations for increasing the efficiency of energy complexes, reducing costs and minimizing the impact on the environment.
