Abstract: The thesis uses capital budgeting techniques to evaluate the financial viability of Company ABC's investment proposal.Relevant concepts such as the cost of capital, the time value of money, and financial measures like net present value (NPV), internal rate of return (IRR), and modified internal rate of return (MIRR) are all explained within the theoretical framework.Using real information supplied by Company ABC, the empirical analysis estimates cash flows, operational expenses, and investment returns using various financial instruments.To improve decision-making, the research combines risk assessment techniques such as scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, and the real option to abandon.
