Research Experts Councils - working material
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This dataset consists of a working material used during expert workshops accompanying institutional site visits focused on research governance and research assessment. The file supports the work of expert boards by providing draft templates and structured guidance for preparing faculty reports and evaluation reports used in expert-based assessments. The material defines the scope, structure, and content of documentation used in the evaluation process, including institutional context, disciplinary and unit-level information, bibliometric data, research outputs, doctoral training, collaboration, innovation, and societal impact. It also outlines the workflow of expert discussions, time allocation during workshops, and the co-creation of reporting formats between institutional representatives and external experts. This dataset offers practical and methodological insight into the development of evidence-informed, expert-led research evaluation processes and can be reused as a reference for institutions designing or refining internal and external research assessment procedures.
