Abstract: Why RWA-CatHIST would be beneficial in such cases:These incidents highlight a systemic vulnerability in the protection, tracking, and accountability of cultural and historical assets-even within the most secured state institutions. A framework such as RWA-CatHIST (Real-World Asset – Cultural & Historical Tokenization) could materially reduce these risks by: Immutable provenance & inventory control: Each cultural object (porcelain, jewelry, regalia) can be represented by an on-chain token linked to verified metadata, provenance history, & custody records, making unnoticed,long-term theft far more difficult. 1)Real-time custody monitoring: Transfers between storage, exhibition, and ceremonial use can be logged on-chain, creating auditable trails for museums, presidential residences, insurers, and auditors. 2) Insurance and risk mitigation: Tokenized heritage assets can be integrated into parametric insurance or catastrophic heritage bonds, enabling faster claims processing and clearer loss attribution. 3)Market abuse prevention: If stolen assets appear in secondary markets or dark web channels, discrepancies between physical objects & their on-chain representations would immediately raise red flags(!) for collectors, auction houses, & regulators. 4)Institutional trust & transparency: For national museums and state collections, RWA-CatHIST provides a neutral, technology-based layer of trust that reduces reliance on internal manual controls alone
