Abstract: The purpose of this study is to follow-up on an exploratory study we conducted. Specifically, we found that Perceived Posttraumatic Growth (PPTG) is weakly related to Impression Management (IM), and much more strongly related to Self-Deception Enhancement (SDE). We submitted these findings in a paper for publication, but the reviewers suggested further data collection. This study serves as a new Study 2 for our revised paper. In this paper we will use multiple measures of socially desirably responding in an attempt to replicate the findings of Bensch, Paulhus, Stankov, & Ziegler (2019) of separate factors for egoistic and moralistic bias.
