Anarchism of the Limit: UNS and the Ethics of Non-Command

Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This paper proposes a phenomenological reformulation of negative ethics, defined as Negative Utilitarianism of Separateness (UNS 2.0/3.0). Starting from the axiom of the ontological separateness of experiential perspectives, the author argues for the non-commensurability of suffering and the subsequent moral impossibility of aggregating or sacrificing individual well-being for a purported common good. The work introduces the Lexical Priority Principle (LPP), which imposes an absolute veto on the production of Maximal Suffering ($S_{max}$), defined as the functional loss of agency under external command. By analyzing the Veto on Command and the Principle of Categorical Prevalence ($P_c$), the text synthesizes various anarchist traditions (libertarian communism, collectivism, mutualism, and insurrectionism) into a single political architecture grounded in non-command and the empirical reduction of structural suffering.
