Abstract: Morganella morganii (M.morganii) is a facultative anaerobic, gram-negative bacillus which uncommonly causes urinary tract infections in children.We report a rare pediatric case of M. morganii, highlighting the diagnostic and treatment challenges associated with this microorganism, its notable antimicrobial resistance profile, and the importance of antibiotic stewardship in guiding effective therapy.
