Abstract: The fabrication of dental prostheses is a time-consuming and labor-intensive process that is primarily reliant on the expertise of technicians. To meet this increasing need, multiple dental design platforms powered by deep-learning technology have been introduced.10 McCarthy et al. 11 was the one who coined this interesting terminology artificial intelligence (AI).11 It is also sometimes known as "machine intelligence" or the "fourth revolution." 12 AI has the IntroductIonA dental prosthesis is a common treatment option used to replace one or more missing teeth along with the surrounding dental and alveolar structures.Ideally made dental prosthesis restore occlusal integrity, oral function, and esthetics.1,2 Dental restorations not replicating the occlusal anatomy of the lost teeth, may result in occlusal differences or oral dysfunction.3,4 The digital revolution has radically transformed prosthetic dentistry. The ongoing digital transformation in dentistry incorporates technologies, such as intraoral scanners, milling units, and three-dimensional (3D) printers.Using computer-aided design (CAD)/computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) workflows streamlines the fabrication of restorations by minimizing the number of clinical and laboratory steps compared with traditional techniques.Digitalization also reduces the chances of human error in the final prosthesis.[5][6][7][8] Although CAD software has progressed, the design process still faces difficulties since the software's built-in teeth libraries might not be sophisticated enough to tailor the design for each patient. There must be a lot of manual input throughout the design phase.Chair-side time is still required for dental prosthesis adjustments during insertion and delivery, despite the use of the contemporary CAD-CAM technique.
