394P Immune microenvironment characterization in early-onset breast cancer

Year: 2025
Type: article
Study design: Observational Study
Abstract: Early-onset breast cancer (EOBC), occurring in women under the age of 40, is frequently associated with germline mutations in DNA repair genes, particularly BRCA1/2. However, more than 70% of EOBC arises in the absence of these mutations, and their underlying biological mechanisms remain largely unclear. Emerging evidence also suggests that environmental and occupational exposures may influence both tumorigenesis and immune system modulation. We present preliminary immunological findings from a retrospective study aimed at investigating non-genetic contributors to EOBC pathogenesis.
