Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: Japan’s civilian space programme has developed advanced technologies such as the world’s first robotic astronaut called Kirobo, space debris collectors and the Quasi-Zenith Satellite System that covers across Asian and Oceania, serving the needs of humankind. Equally important are Japan’s international collaborations in the Asian Micro-satellite Consortium and participation in NASA’s Artemis programme—the largest space network system—to establish a sustained presence on the moon.
