Ecological Risk Modelling, Risk Management, and Environmental Challenges in the 21st Century
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The 21st century is marked by unprecedented environmental challenges, including climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, and ecosystem degradation, all of which pose significant risks to both ecosystems and human well-being.These challenges have been exacerbated by increased industrialization, urbanization, and unsustainable agricultural practices, leading to soil degradation, atmospheric and water pollution, deforestation, and the destabilization of ecological balance and human health (Liang and Song 2022 ; Ul-Durar et al. 2024 ).
