Abstract: Introduction and Aim: Stroke remains a leading cause of disability worldwide, often leaving patients dependent on caregivers for rehabilitation and daily activities. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of a structured poststroke rehabilitation module on improving the knowledge and practices of caregivers. Materials and Methods: A quasi-experimental study was conducted among 50 caregivers of stroke patients at a tertiary care hospital. Participants were divided into study and control groups. The study group received the structured rehabilitation module, while the control group received routine care. Pretest and posttest assessments of knowledge and practice levels were conducted using validated tools. Data were analyzed using paired and unpaired t -tests, chi-square tests, and Pearson’s correlation. Results: The study group demonstrated significantly higher posttest mean knowledge (25.76) and practice scores (28.52) compared to the control group (15.52 and 22.44, respectively) ( P < 0.01). A positive correlation between knowledge and practice was observed in the study group at the posttest level ( r = 0.217, P = 0.041). Age and marital status were significantly associated with posttest knowledge scores. Conclusion: The structured poststroke rehabilitation module was effective in enhancing caregivers’ knowledge and practices. Early caregiver education should be integrated into poststroke management programs to optimize patient outcomes.
