Abstract: Formulating drugs for pediatric patients is more complex than for adults due to the diversity within this group. Solubility of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) presents specific challenges, since children have unique physiological traits—smaller stomach volume and immature digestive systems—that affect absorption, metabolism, and overall drug effectiveness. Oral formulations must consider drug sensitivity, swallowing difficulties, and compliance. Taste, ease of administration, and patient acceptance strongly influence therapeutic outcomes and safety.
