Abstract: This study aimed to examine the relationship between the job satisfaction of barbers and the expected effects on the revitalization of the barbering industry. The research sought to identify the key factors that influence job satisfaction among barbers and to analyze how these factors contribute to improving the overall image and competitiveness of the barbering sector. A survey was conducted among 200 barbering professionals currently working in beauty and barber shops across South Korea. The collected data were analyzed using frequency analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis. The results revealed that job satisfaction was significantly affected by factors such as working conditions, professional recognition, wage levels, and opportunities for self-development. Among these, professional recognition and career advancement showed the strongest effects on the perception of industrial revitalization. Additionally, barbers with higher job satisfaction exhibited a more positive outlook on the future development of the industry. In conclusion, this study highlights the importance of enhancing job satisfaction to promote sustainable growth and innovation in the barbering industry. The findings suggest that systematic support for skill development, social awareness improvement, and policy-level incentives can contribute to both individual fulfillment and industrial advancement.
