Aesthetic Fidelity Paradigms and User Perception Dissonance: A Multi-User Analysis of Graphical Overhauls and Social Cohesion in Evolving Virtual Ecosystems
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: This dossier presents a comprehensive foren-sic analysis of the April 2024 "Rediscover Yourself" graphi-cal update within the Pokémon GO augmented reality ecosys-tem. The research investigates the catastrophic failure of "aes-thetic fidelity" when transitioning from static mesh archetypesto dynamic, slider-based morphological systems. By analyz-ing global user data, technical rendering artifacts, and socio-psychological feedback loops, this paper argues that unop-timized graphical realism in mobile environments triggers"Identity Displacement Syndrome," leading to measurabledeclines in social cohesion and economic engagement. Thestudy integrates historical context, engine-level vulnerabilityassessment, behavioral psychology, and proposed defensiveprotocols for future virtual asset protection.
