Abstract: A potential therapeutic strategy involves direct delivery of caspase-3 or its activatorsinto cancer cells this approach could bypass upstream apoptotic resistance mechanisms, forcingmalignant cells to undergo apoptosis through activation of nucleases that degrade nuclear DNA,thereby eliminating tumor cells.
