Applying the Quadruple Process Model to a Measure of Implicit Bias Towards Individuals with Alcohol Use Disorder
Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The research aims of the proposed study are twofold: first, we seek to validate an implicit measure of bias toward individuals with alcohol use disorder by assessing the construct, convergent, and predictive validity of the measure. The second research aim of this study is to investigate which aspects of automatic and controlled processes are influential during an implicit task by applying the Quad model. As such, the relationship between the association activation (AC), Overcoming Bias (OB), and corresponding constructs will be assessed.
