Investigating the Relationship between the Quality of Intramural Olympiads and the Performance of Elementary School boys in Provincial Competitions (A Case Study of Semnan Province)

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between the quality of intramural Olympiads and the performance of students in provincial competitions (a case study of elementary school students in Semnan). The method of the current research is descriptive-correlation, in terms of practical purpose, which was implemented in the field. The statistical population of the present study is 50 sports teachers of Semnan city. In this research, the number of the population and the research sample are the same, and the sampling method is census (total number). The research tool was collected using a researcher-made questionnaire with a Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.84. The research data were analyzed using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov (k-s) test, Cronbach's alpha and eta test. The analysis and results of the research showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between the quality of intramural Olympiads and the performance of students participating in sports competitions in Semnan province.
