Abstract: Key performance indicator (KPIs) has experienced significant progresses over the historical few decades. Multiusers of KPIs often describe the KPIs from numerous perspectives. Commonly speaking, KPIs are measurable variables that specify the efficiency and success of the ventilation system's performance. Administrators may apply them to assess the performance of their team operators to keep them on the right track; operators can use them to evaluate his/her performance and adjust consequently. The ventilation system inside radiation facilities comprises a conventional ventilation system that services the rooms corresponding to free circulation areas, an active area ventilation system that services the sectors located in supervised and controlled areas of the facility, and a glove box and cell ventilation system that supplies ventilation to the glove boxes and production cells. As a result of the 24/7 process of this system in the facility, problems may occur that could lead to the failure of a component at any time, affecting the efficiency of the system as a whole and thus hindering safe process. For this reason, it is important to define specific constants to measure efficiency. This helps in making the appropriate decision regarding replacing any component and quickly increasing its performance. (KPIs) satisfy this purpose. This paper focuses on developing KPIs for ventilation systems in radiation facilities. KPIs are developed to measure performance, track progress towards objectives, and guide data-driven decisions that align with the overall business strategy.
