The Reality Compiler: A Wave–Particle Tensor Framework for Automated Material Design

Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: The Reality Compiler is a theoretical and computational framework for automated material design based on a hybrid wave–particle tensor formalism. It reframes material synthesis as a compilation problem, where high-level user-defined property requirements and purpose constraints are decomposed into multi-scale physical representations and iteratively transformed into stable, emergent material configurations. The framework introduces a unified representation of physical entities across scales using wave modes and discrete particle classes—Nano-Architectons, Vibron Units, and Macrostructons—encoded within wave–particle tensors. These tensors evolve through purpose-driven transformation operators, enabling simultaneous consideration of quantum, nano-scale, and macro-scale interactions while preserving stability, uniqueness, and convergence. This record contains: The theoretical formulation of the Reality Compiler model Formal tensor notation and transformation operators A computational architecture for purpose-driven optimization An interactive simulator implementation demonstrating core concepts The Reality Compiler provides a conceptual foundation for future autonomous material synthesis systems, self-healing and adaptive materials, and extreme multi-property design applications, particularly relevant to aerospace, nanotechnology, and advanced physical systems research.
