Green synthesis of phosphoryl pyran employing multicomponent reaction of alkyl bromides

Abstract: An effective one-pot synthesis of dialkoxyphosphoryl-2-oxo-2H-pyran derivatives by three-component reaction of alky bromides and dialkylacetylenedicarboxylates in the presence of trialkyl phosphite is described. The reactions were performed under solvent-free conditions at 50oC and neutral conditions and provided good yields of products.
