Abstract: Acute appendicitis is the most common non-obstetric surgical emergency mandating immediate intervention. The standard management of complicated appendicitis is surgical intervention; however, phlegmonous appendicitis has been sparsely studied in pregnancy. We report a case of phlegmonous appendicitis in pregnancy that was successfully managed with antibiotic therapy and close clinical and radiological follow-up, resulting in favorable maternal and fetal outcomes without the need for surgical intervention.
