Numerical Consistency Checks for the First Law of Inward Physics

Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: This document presents numerical consistency checks for the First Law of Inward Physics, a proposed field-theoretic law of endogenous registration introduced in the companion work “The First Law of Inward Physics: A Field-Theoretic Law of Endogenous Registration”. Using zero-dimensional (0D) ensemble simulations (N=1000) and a one-dimensional (1D) spatial generalization (D=0.1), the checks examine variance suppression, irreversible accumulation of registration A(t) = ∫ μ(τ) dτ, and recovery under finite perturbations (shock α=3 at t=25). Dynamics are integrated via Euler-Maruyama with non-quadratic potential V(μ) = (1/2)aμ² + (1/3)bμ³ + (1/4)cμ⁴ (a=1, b=-3, c=1), noise σ_η=0.1, dt=0.01, T=50. Results show bounded variance, monotonic A, and recovery in inward-stable regimes, with weak suppression (κ≈0.0146, R²≈0.12 in 1D) and divergence at high diffusion (D>2), confirming erosion. Falsifiability probes include absence of suppression (κ=0), reset under shocks, and hysteresis loss (b=c=0). This work is limited to theoretical formulation and computational simulation. No empirical validation is claimed. Interpretive descriptions are non-metaphysical and non-psychological.
