Abstract: Purpose: There has been a rising incidence of Haemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH), with one-year survival remaining poor.Factors contributing to poor mortality likely include underrecognition and delays in initiating treatment. We evaluated the self-reported levels of confidence in diagnosis and management of HLH amongst United Kingdom based speciality trainees and consultants. We will use these data to design training addressing respondents' educational needs. Methods: A group of Paediatric and Adult Rheumatology resident doctors created a questionnaire on the 'SurveyMonkey' platform. This was circulated through speciality networks including the British Society of Rheumatology trainee representatives, and more informally through personal networks of the HLH Multidisciplinary Team. The survey was open for 4 weeks. Results: 113 responses were collected; respondents ranged from first year internal medicine trainees to speciality consultants.Specialities represented included Paediatric and Adult Rheumatology, Paediatric and Adult Internal Medicine, and Intensive Care Medicine.91% of respondents were familiar with HLH The Risk Factors for Transplant-Associated Thrombotic Microangiopathy in Pediatrics
