Emergence of rare SARS-CoV-2 subvariant LF.7.3 obtained from Moroccan COVID-19 patients

Abstract: We report the coding-complete genome sequence of a rare severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) subvariant (LF.7.3) identified in Morocco. Genomic analysis indicates that these strains belong to the LF.7.3 sublineage, a descendant of the JN.1 variant within the Omicron lineage.
