Abstract: A recurring debate in contemporary times discusses whether there is Philosophy outside the Western Eurocentric world. Despite numerous historical and epistemological considerations that demonstrate the contrary, several authors insist on the philosophical absence of other civilizations, revealing that racism, xenophobia and prejudice still dominate many studies on history and philosophical theories.
