Abstract: Aim: This study aims to assess the canal centering ability, canal transportation, and remaining dentin thickness of three different retreatment rotary systems with the help of cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). Methodology: Thirty extracted mandibular premolars with a single canal with a degree of curvature of 10°-30° were cleaned and shaped using TruNatomy files as per the manufacturer's instructions with standardized irrigation protocol, and canals were obturated with corresponding GP and MTA Fillapex sealer. Postobturation scans were taken. Then, obturation materials were removed using ProTaper universal retreatment files in Group I, Solite RS3 files in Group II, and Retreaty retreatment files in Group III. Then, postobturation retrieval scans were taken. Pre- and postinstrumentation scans were analyzed using CBCT, and the values were obtained on axial view; the centering ability, canal transportation, and remaining dentin thickness were evaluated. Statistical Analysis: The data were statistically evaluated using Kruskal-Wallis test followed by Dunn's post hoc test. Results and Conclusion: Solite RS3 and Retreaty heat-treated retreatment groups had resulted in better canal centering ability, less canal transportation, and retained more dentin thickness when compared to the ProTaper universal retreatment system, and the differences were statistically significant (P < 0.05).
