Year: 2026
Type: article
Study designs: Systematic Review, Meta-Analysis
Abstract: In this study, the meta-analysis method was used to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and employee motivation. Within the scope of the purpose of the study, 12 studies that met the criteria in 25 empirical studies were identified and included in the meta-analysis. The analyses of the study were carried out with CMA 13 software (Comprehensive Meta Analysis 13.0). As a result of the meta-analysis performed with fixed effect model (Z=25,71; p<0,05) and random effect model (Z=7,77; p<0,05) to determine the relationship between job satisfaction and employee motivation, it was determined that the relationship between job satisfaction and employee motivation was statistically significant. According to the results of the Egger test in the studies examining the relationship between job satisfaction and employee motivation, it was determined that there was no effect of publication bias in the studies included in the research (Egger=4,631; t=1,135; p>0,05). This study's originality stems from its methodological sophistication, comprehensive scope, theoretical integration, and practical applicability. It advances the understanding of the intricate dynamics between job satisfaction and employee motivation, offering valuable insights for future research and organizational practice
