LogiTech: An Efficient System for Logistics and Goods Handling

Abstract: - LogiTech is a software-based logisticsmanagement system designed to improve the efficiency,reliability, and transparency of goods transportationoperations. Traditional logistics processes often facechallenges such as vehicle unavailability, poor labourcoordination, improper loading and unloading, manualrecord-keeping, and delivery delays, which increaseoperational costs and reduce service quality. To overcomethese limitations, the proposed system integrates centralizedresource management, intelligent allocation algorithms, andreal-time workflow monitoring through a web-basedplatform.The system manages transportation requests, vehicleavailability, labour assignment, and delivery tracking usinga unified digital framework. Intelligent allocationalgorithms optimize the use of vehicles and manpowerbased on capacity, availability, workload, and proximity.Implemented using React and Bootstrap for the userinterface, Node.js for backend logic, and MySQL for datamanagement, the system automates logistics workflows,reduces manual intervention, and supports analyticalreporting, providing a scalable and cost-effective solutionfor modern logistics and supply-chain operations.
