Abstract: India’s recent regulatory amendment in drug trial protocols represents a significant departure from conventional practices, particularly in the realm of animal experimentation. However, mounting ethical concerns, coupled with advancements in scientific methodologies, have prompted a global re-evaluation of this approach.
