Increasing the economic security of an agro-industrial enterprise in the context of agricultural digitalization

Abstract: The article considers the state of economic security of Agroindustrial Complex Astrakhan LLC based on the analysis of indicators that identify threats to economic security in the context of digitalization of agriculture. The possibilities of increasing the level of economic security of an agro-industrial enterprise due to the introduction of advanced digital technologies in agriculture are being investigated. Indicative methods, methods of compiling a register of threats, identifying cause-and-effect relationships through the Ishikawa diagram, and others were used. The most significant threats to the economic security of Agroindustrial Complex Astrakhan LLC have been identified: in the financial sector (high accounts payable, lack of reserve funds, weak use of government support measures); in the personnel sector (low wages, low qualifications of the workforce, the presence of a strict system of penalties, a general shortage of labor in rural areas). To minimize these threats, a set of measures has been proposed, including the formation of a capital structure, optimization of production costs, redistribution of profits, increasing the attractiveness of working conditions, revision of the remuneration and bonus system for seasonal workers, revision of hiring policies, and the formation of qualification requirements for the workforce. The implementation of the proposed measures will ensure the stable development of Agroindustrial Complex LLC in the context of the introduction of digital technologies, in particular, management mobile applications and agrodrons. The results of the study can be useful to managers and specialists of agricultural enterprises, as well as researchers in the field of agricultural economics.
