Abstract: In The study provides an overview of aggregation, disaggregation and decomposition methods in flow allocation. A clear distinction is made between demand modeling, and geographic zon-ing, and supply-oriented (network topology and load) modeling methods. The methods can be applied to build multiscale modeling environments
