Abstract: All nations of the world are directly or indirectly involved in a conflict, battle and war. All humanbeing are suffering because of this. Human lives are lost in thousands and thousands. Human beingsare in tension, stress and insecurity so this paper deals with peace, peace education, need of peaceeducation, relevance of peace education in a modern world.Gandhi was a messenger of peace andAlbert Einstein said in this regard that Generation to come would rarely believe that a man in fleshand blood like Gandhi ever walked upon this earth.
