Abstract: The article discusses the commemoration of Polish rock music in museums. The study aims to outline the purposes of the museum’s narrative memorializing rock music, in which history and heritage intersect with collective memory and nostalgia. The paper identifies different contexts of narrative: historical, artistic, political, social, and commercial, and the significance of these museums for host cities.
