Abstract: Metamaterial Adhesives-Integrated Triboelectric Nanogenerators In their Research Article (10.1002/adfm.202506293), Michael D. Bartlett, Junyeob Yeo, Hoon Eui Jeong, and co-workers present a metamaterial adhesive-integrated triboelectric nanogenerator (MetaAdh-TENG). By integrating triboelectricity and reverse crack propagation, this device achieves programmable charge generation and adhesion, enabling self-powered smart adhesives, detachment monitoring, and sustained energy harvesting.
